WiFi at Parkwood Sports Complex,65 Arrandale Avenue – Now that the lounge and snack bar area is fully wired with WiFi, you can stay connected no matter what the season.

Parkwood Family Aquatic Center opens this weekend. It will be open Saturday, May 26, Sunday, May 27 and Monday, May 28 from 11 a.m. -7 p.m. On Sunday, June 3, Park District residents with valid a park card, may take advantage of the free Open House. You can register for membership at Great Neck House during regular registration hours.

Resident’s Day All Park District residents are invited to Resident’s Day on Sunday, June 3. Meet at Great Neck House at 9:30 a.m. for an introduction to our parks, programs and facilities. The Board of Commissioners will provide an overview of the District, you will receive an informational packet and take a bus tour, which will continue to Steppingstone Park for the Blessing of the Fleet ceremony (or return directly back to Great Neck House at approximately 12 noon). Sixteenth Annual Blessing of the Fleet At Steppingstone Marina on Sunday, June 3 at 12 noon, we will be accepting greetings and benedictions from dignitaries and community representatives, in blessing the fleet. It will take place rain or shine. A skipper’s meeting for all participating boats will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the dock. Sponsored by the Steppingstone Blessing of the Fleet Committee, Steppingstone Yacht Club and the Stepping Stone Sailing Club. A program of events is available at the marina. All are welcome to attend.
